Taking young minds seriously

Academy Calendar & Extracurriculars

Summer Camps

We offer a variety of summer camps each year.  In the past, these camps have included a Junior Scholars Camp, music camps, theatre camp, tennis clinic, and science camp.  The camps are open to both VCA and non-VCA students and their siblings. Check back with us in the spring when we announce upcoming summer camps.

Interscholastic Sports and Extracurricular Activities

Veritas students in the 7th and 8th grades may participate in interscholastic competition with local schools.  The State of Ohio permits private school students to participate in public school sports and extracurricular activities not otherwise offered at the Academy.  The student is eligible to participate only in the school district in which they reside.  Veritas Classical Academy requires that students maintain a cumulative grade not lower than a C to participate in extracurricular activities and sports.  Junior high sports include cross-country, golf, volleyball, track, cheerleading, and basketball. These activities are organized by and are under the jurisdiction of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
