Bethany Atwood is excited to join the staff at Veritas Classical Academy teaching the lower school music classes as Mrs. Bauserman goes on maternity leave. She has four children attending Veritas who all share her love for music. Bethany was a part of a preparatory choir from the age of 5 and began traveling with them from ages 12 to 18. She got the opportunity to be taught by many great musicians and sang with the choir all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. She also is a pianist of 27 years and is now helping her children with their own piano development. She took music and humanity classes at Brigham Young University while getting her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She was a percussionist while in secondary school and took guitar classes in high school. She began learning violin in her adulthood and believes it’s never too late to learn an instrument if you have the desire. She hopes to continue the excitement Mrs. Bauserman shared for music and help develop the students’ ears for good music.
